On December 9, 2020 actress Kriti Sanon shared the news of testing positive for COVID-19 on her social media account. Following that she kept her fans posted about her health updates, now taking to her INSTA Stories, she announced the news of testing negative for COVID-19. She thanked BMC officials, assistant commissioner, and doctors for all the help she received from them during her battle against the ongoing pandemic. She also thanked her fans for all the love and warm wishes.

Her INSTA Stories must have come as a relief for the actress, her family as well as her fans. Her INSTA Stories read, “Happy to inform everyone that I have finally tested Negative for COVID-19! A big thank you to @mybmc officials, respected Assistant commissioner @mybmcwardKW Mr. Vishwas Mote, and my doctor for all the help & assistance. And thank you all for the warm wishes and the love,” with joined hands and heart emoji. In her post, she shared a link providing more information regarding the ongoing pandemic.

During her quarantine period at her residence, she watched her movie, Raabta co-starring the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, sharing a snippet of it on her social media account.
